Saving Time and Wire on a 4' Open Root Weld

In another episode of Man Vs. Machine, we were able to show how the Gullco KAT® 300 welding carriage was able to perform a 4' open root weld in 2G on a 3/8" plate. The machine was set-up to run a fill and hot pass and was able to complete this in just about 25 minutes. This was in comparison to Man Cub's time of about 42 minutes!

Moral of the story - Work smarter and faster.

With technology on our side, Gullco has several options in addition to this KAT® 300 WELDING CARRIAGE.

Here are some features of this GK-R-300 used in our video.
